Who We Are

YFCCM is founded on and sustained by love. Love is the greatest of all gifts, and it is seen through practical and visible qualities (1 Corinthians 13:1–13).

We therefore strive to uphold and live out our love for both God and His people as commanded in the Scriptures (Matthew 22:37–40; Luke 10:27). We are the products of God’s love.

Love inspires and shapes how we serve, lead and care for one another at YFCCM. Jesus Christ commands us to love one another by following Him as our standard for love, and He says that love is a hallmark of His disciples (John 13:34–35).

Love is a debt we owe one another. We demonstrate our relationship with God by loving one another, because love is from God and God is love (1 John 4:7–21).

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. — John 3:16

Integrity is God’s nature (Numbers 23:19). In John 14:6 Jesus declares Himself as the truth. The Lord loathes lying lips but delights in people who are honest (Proverbs 12:22).

Therefore, YFCCM embodies integrity and honesty as the core of who we are. This is what we desire and teach our young people to be. We believe in righteousness and justice, and to uphold that we need honesty and integrity.

We believe that every human being rises and falls at the level of their honesty and integrity. Nations too rise and fall at the level of the honesty and integrity of their leaders.

The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them. — Proverbs 11:3

YFCCM is more than just a movement – it is a family. Family and unity are integral to our faith in Christ; a house divided against itself cannot stand. We strive to create bonds that will last a lifetime.

This is why we believe in building a community of young people with diverse gifts, skills, abilities and functions to sharpen and strengthen one another. All believers are part of the body of Christ, and we all contribute to the body in different ways (Romans 12:4–5; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27).

YFCCM is a place where individuals become family and a community to build a united nation.

Christ Jesus is the embodiment of humility and servanthood (Philippians 2:5–11). We at YFCCM seek to pursue the mindset found in Christ: humility and service.

Our goal is to raise and develop servant leaders who will submit to God and serve in every sphere of society with humility, authority and integrity. We reinforce the words of Jesus through our programmes and teachings, for “God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6; 1 Peter 5:5–6).

Whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave – just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. — Matthew 20:27–28
